Kokkino Ltd, has been trading since 2003. Launched at Top Drawer Exhibition in September 2003. Our first order was placed there by, our still current and good customer, Studio One of Edinburgh.

Since 2003, it has been hard but enjoyable work to now have Kokkino Jewellery in over 100 outlets and any given time throughout the year, at Christmas time you might even find it in more outlets.

These range initially in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and the Republic of Ireland too. Cities we have work in are, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle Chester and many more. We even have a couple of stores in San Francisco…!!

Using Kiln Fired Enamelling in our jewellery gives us a unique position as there are very few contemporary jewellery enamellers currently. This skill is exact and very uncompromising. But it is also enjoyable and self-rewarding.

To achieve the brilliance of colour the jewellery has to be fired at 1000 degrees to get the right level of finish. Each year we send our enamellers on training to keep them upto speed with techniques.

Kokkino is the brain child of Melanie and Chay, and together with their hard work and dedication a good new designer jewellery company has been founded.

With the differing skills they both bring to Kokkino it gives good focus not found everywhere. Also brings a good all round understanding of managing and functioning a small business in today’s corporate world.
