  • Kokkino is the Greek word meaning red. I chose it as I wanted a vibrant name for my business to reflect the colourful nature of my work.

  • Most of my collections are made from sterling silver and vitreous enamel although I also work in gold and use precious and semi-precious gemstones. I always choose recycled precious metals where possible and only responsibly sourced stones.

    It is also possible to use the metal and gems in your unworn jewellery to create new pieces.

  • Enamel is a very fine layer of glass which is fused onto the surface of the silver in a kiln heated to around 1000 degrees celcius. I have a full blog post on the process here.

  • Yes, I only use sterling silver or sometimes fine silver.

  • All kokkino jewellery comes in a box, tied with a ribbon and wrapped in tissue paper, but if you would like an item giftwrapping just let me know at checkout

  • Yes certainly. As long as the item is unworn we can certainly swap it for another item or give you a refund.

  • Yes, if you can’t see the colour you need, perhaps you want to match a particular outfit, then please get in touch as this may be possible. There are many shade of enamel available, although unfortunately it is not quite like paint where you can match any shade.

  • Yes, and pieces can be adapted and commissioned for your big day

  • Yes, we love to make unique and special pieces of jewellery including engagement rings. Just send me an email and we can discuss this

  • Really it depends on the commission and the time of year, so it is always better to get in touch as soon as possible.

  • Yes, many earring designs can be adapted successfully for non-pierced ears, get in touch if you’d like to commission a pair

  • Yes, all of my designs come in a variety of chain lengths, just get in touch if you can’t see what you need

  • Yes, if you can’t see what you need, just get in touch, I can make rings to any size or half size

  • It’s always best to get your finger or a ring measured rather than guessing or using a piece of paper or string! Most jewellers are happy to do this if you pop in or If you like we can send you a free ring sizer, just get in touch to let us know your details.
