Delivery Times
Some items are held in stock but most of the jewellery is made to order. If an item is in stock it will be dispatched as soon as possible, usually within 3 days of placing the order. Items that need to be made to order will be despatched in 2-3 weeks.

Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only.

If you require an item urgently for a special date or event please contact Melanie and she will try her best to accommodate your requirements.

Delivery
All orders are sent using UK Royal Mail signed-for services and a signature is required on receipt. You will recieve an email containing the tracking number once the parcel has been despatched. Postage charge for other orders within the UK and International is free

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they are there to sign for delivery of the goods and have supplied a correct and complete delivery address. Once the goods have passed to Royal Mail, Melanie cannot be responsible for delays in delivery or damages.

Please note that customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges.

Packaging
Your jewellery will be packaged safely and securely in a jewellery box and delivered in a padded envelope.

Returns
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase simply return the goods, unworn, in their original condition and packaging. Please inform us of your intention to return goods in writing by email.

All goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery to receive an exchange or refund (minus the cost of postage and packaging).

Any goods which have been specially commissioned, customised or personalised to order cannot be returned.  Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for goods to be returned using a delivery service which ensures the item is tracked and insured during transit.

Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment within 30 days.

What does Kokkino mean?

Kokkino is the Greek word meaning red. I chose it as I wanted a vibrant name for my business to reflect the colourful nature of my work.

Where are you based?

I am based in Hinckley Leicestershire

What is kokkino jewellery made from?

Most of my collections are made from sterling silver and vitreous enamel although i also work in gold and use precious and semi-precious gemstones

What is enamel?

Enamel is a very fine layer of glass which is fused onto the surface of the silver in a kiln heated to around 1000 degrees c

Is Kokkino jewellery nickel free?

Yes, I only use sterling silver

Postage and Delivery

What are your UK postage options?

All members of the VIP list get free postage, which is send via signed for 1st class or special delivery depending on the price of the item - sign up to the VIP list here

Otherwise - Standard Signed for is £5 Special Delivery £8

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship anywhere. International postage is £10

Returns

Can I return an item if I have changed my mind?

Yes, any item can be returned as long as it is unworn, except for bespoke and custom pieces. Full details are in the Delivery and Returns section

How do I return an item previously bought from a stockist?

Please take it back to the stockist you purchased it from for details.

Gifts and Gift Vouchers

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes, gift vouchers are a great idea and can be purchased here in a number of denominations. We send you a code via email so great for a last minute or long distance gift 

Can I use a discount code to buy a gift voucher?

No, discount codes are only for physical products

Can you add a gift message?

Yes certainly! There is a text box at checkout so just let me know what you would like your message to be, or drop me a quick email.

Can  you gift wrap for me?

All kokkino jewellery comes in a box, tied with a ribbon and wrapped in tissue paper, but if you would like an item giftwrapping just let me know at checkout

Can a gift be returned if I bought the wrong thing?

Yes certainly. As long as the item is unworn we can certainly swap it for another item or give you a refund.

How do I care for my kokkino jewellery?

Do you work to commission?

Yes, I love to work to commission and make one off bespoke pieces. See more here

Can I buy a piece in a different colour?

Yes, if you can’t see the colour you need, perhaps you want to match a particular outfit, then please get in touch as this may be possible. There are many shade of enamel available, although unfortunately it is not quite like paint where you can match any shade.

Do you make bridal jewellery?

Yes, and pieces can be adapted and commissioned for your big day

Do you make engagement rings?

Yes, we love to make unique and special pieces of jewellery including engagement rings. Just send me an email and we can discuss this

How long will it take for a commission to be made?

Really it depends on the commission and the time of year, so it is always better to get in touch as soon as possible.

Can you make earrings for non-pierced ears?

Yes, many earring designs can be adapted successfully for non-pierced ears, get in touch if you’d like to commission a pair

Can you provide a longer chain?

Yes, all of my designs come in a variety of chain lengths, just get in touch if you can’t see what you need.

Do you make rings in my size - I can’t see it listed?

Again, if you can’t see what you need, just get in touch, I can make rings to any size or half size

I don’t know what ring size I need

It’s always best to get your finger or a ring measured rather than guessing or using a piece of paper or string! Most jewellers are happy to do this if you pop in or If you like we can send you a free ring sizer, just get in touch to let us know your details.

Are the diamonds conflict free?

Yes all of our diamonds are from reputable sources and are conflict free.
